Breonna, born 2002

I found out about my daughter's heart defect at my 16 week ultrasound. The doctor then told me to have an abortion because he said she had no chance at survival. I was only eighteen years old so I was being advised to terminate the pregnancy by almost everybody.

 

Breonna was born May 13th, 2002 and today is very active. She dances a lot and does gymnastics. Her oxygen is usually around 95-96. Her most recent echocardiogram looks great!
