Cooper, born 2013

Cooper was diagnosed in utero with heart block; we didn't know what degree until he was born. He was in the NICU for five days being monitored and daily echoes and EKGs were preformed.

 

His heart has slowed down, but that doesn't keep him down. He's an extremely active 4.5 yr old now with big dreams of becoming the next Buster Posey - his favorite SF Giants player. He's able to keep up with his peers and play soccer and Tee-ball. He is extremely sports driven and so far so good he's able to do that! He also has spinal cysts we have yearly MRIs to check on that. So eight years old is our magic number to get to before needing a pacemaker.
