Does every first time mother going into the delivery room know what to expect? Not me.

 

Keegan was diagnosed with pulmonary atresia the day of his birth and was rushed away from me. At only nine days old, he went through his first surgery and they placed a shunt in his heart. Today, he now a happy little and active little boy.

 

He’s had two cardiac catheterizations and in August of 2013 he had the Bi-directional Glenn surgery. He recovered well and continues to see his Pediatric Cardiologist.
